Kwara Fire Service justifies AbdulRazaq's proactive measures

Kwara Fire Service justifies AbdulRazaq's proactive measures The Kwara state Fire Service earlier today once again prevented what could have been described as a black Sunday in Ilorin as another fire inferno was put off at Faagba area of Ilorin. The incidence occurred at No 7. Faagba Street behind Emir's Palace Ilorin where a story building of about four rooms and five shops were exposed to fire but thanks to the quick response and efforts of men of the state Fire Service who immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and contained the fire. The quick response of the Fire Service men to prevent the inferno which would have caused many damages to people in the neighbourhood can not be far from the reason that Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq had taken some proactive measures few months back by acquiring more fire fighting vehicles for the state command of the Fire Service. It will be recalled that the state government had in November 2019 procured more fire fig

But one thing is clear, the world can not afford another war, not now and never in the future. An opinion titled “Relocating Abroad will not solve financial problems” written by Grace Agada published on the Punch Newspaper recently, has continued to generate diverse reactions and again brought to the fore the need to interrogate this growing trend of Economic mi
